An Interview with Carol Stream Panthers Director, Jorge Noval 

 

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (Monday, March 27)-The Copa Rayados tournaments are some of the best youth soccer tournaments in the country. 

Copa Rayados tournaments carry high participation from the top soccer clubs in the country, diverse competition from varying regions of the country, and feature pro pathways via partnership with LigaMX’s very own CF Monterrey Rayados. Additionally, age group winners receive free entry to the prestigious Copa Rayados Internacional in Houston, Texas. With no other tournament organization in the country offering these benefits to participating youth soccer clubs, the Copa Rayados tournaments are quickly becoming the premier tournament to attend in each region. 

We caught up with Jorge Noval, Director of Carol Stream Panthers in Chicago, IL to hear more about his club’s experience at Copa Rayados Chicago 
 

How did you hear about Copa Rayados Chicago? 

"I first heard of Copa Rayados Chicago and that the tournament was from the same organization (Premier Soccer Services)  that were behind Easter International Cup and Copa Rayados Internacional. For the first edition of this tournament, when it was Copa Chicago, I originally registered my four age groups 2008-2005.” 

How did your players and families experience the tournament? 

"My families and players thoroughly enjoyed the tournament and the experience!” 

How was your experience as a Director? 

"I was pleased to see the excellent organization of the event and professionalism displayed. The level of competition was extremely high and very competitive. I had no doubts in registering my teams to participate in Copa Rayados Chicago."

What makes the Copa Rayados tournaments different? 

"We have played many tournaments in different states and regions, but the Copa Rayados tournaments are always our first priority because of the organization (Premier Soccer Services), the excellent fields, and the excellent level of competition. There are no comparisons, they are always our first choice!” 

In 2022, the Carol Stream Panthers 2008s won their age group. They will be attending the Easter International Cup, in Orlando, FL this upcoming April. 

Meanwhile, Carol Stream Panthers teams will be featuring this summer at the Copa Rayado Chicago, June 30-July 2 at Waukegan Sports Park. They will face a fresh challenge at this year’s edition: facing off versus CF Monterrey Rayados youth professional teams
